Owen Roe Red Blend Abbot's Table 2011
The 2011 Abbot’s Table blend is a nice contrast to some of our previous vintages, with a low 13% alcohol level. This wine is bursting with blackberry, black cherry and white pepper aromas. Flavors of Rooibos spiced tea, sweet wild strawberry and pepper are enhanced with a subtle finish of cedar and pepper and a balanced mouthfeel.
Since our first vintage in 1999, Owen Roe winery has been working to produce exceptional, hand crafted wines. We are especially committed to the low vigor hillside vineyards of Yakima Valley Washington. These vineyards yield fruit with low pH and high acidity, both harbingers of age-able wines.
RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
