Owen Roe Red Blend Abbot's Table 2005

Member Review by drdebs:

Not as impressed with this vintage as I was with the 04. This one very much along the blackberry and plum spectrum, with a bit of cedary finish. Not the bright herbal flavors in the midpalate, but very jammy and fruity. Smooth almost undetectable tannins. Will appeal to fruit-lovers.

Owen Roe:
Since our first vintage in 1999, Owen Roe winery has been working to produce exceptional, hand crafted wines. We are especially committed to the low vigor hillside vineyards of Yakima Valley Washington. These vineyards yield fruit with low pH and high acidity, both harbingers of age-able wines.

Awesome blend. Something different every sip and smell. Nice pepper from the Zin grape, but a wonderful marriage of grapes from Oregon.
