Since our first vintage in 1999, Owen Roe winery has been working to produce exceptional, hand crafted wines. We are especially committed to the low vigor hillside vineyards of Yakima Valley Washington. These vineyards yield fruit with low pH and high acidity, both harbingers of age-able wines.
Nice dark cherry color. Blackberry, plum, black cherry, a bit of coffee and vanilla. Smooth with a nice long, lingering finish. Opens up beautifully with time.
Smoky, caramel, natural wood nose. On the palate some intense pomegranate, black cherry and chocolate covered coffee bean flavors. This wine is a party in your mouth.
