Owen Roe Abbot's Table Columbia Valley 2015

Winemaker's Notes:

40% Zinfandel, 26% Sangiovese, 23% Blaufrankish, 11% Malbec. The deep ruby-hue of this well known red blend is full of beautiful aromatics. Notes of dark cherry, plum, blackberry and spice become complex on the palate with hints of rich vanilla essence, tobacco, toasted nuts and pepper. Gripping tannins and a robust mouthfeel are nicely balanced with lingering acidity. This wine has the ability to shine for over a decade, so stock up now on this incredible Washington vintage and enjoy it for 12+ years. Not yet reviewed; 2014 vintage rated 90 points by Wine Enthusiast.

Owen Roe:
Since our first vintage in 1999, Owen Roe winery has been working to produce exceptional, hand crafted wines. We are especially committed to the low vigor hillside vineyards of Yakima Valley Washington. These vineyards yield fruit with low pH and high acidity, both harbingers of age-able wines.
