Ostatu Rioja Blanco 2013

Winemaker's Notes:

89 points Josh Raynolds (International Wine Cellar): (90% viura and 10% malvasia): Green-tinged straw. Lively, focused citrus and orchard fruit flavors are complemented by a dusty mineral quality and a hint of succulent herbs. Dry and nervy on the palate, offering bitter pear skin and lemon pith flavors that flesh out with air. Closes clean and tight, with a hint of bitterness and good length. (Sep/Oct 2014)

Mostly Viura with some Malvasia. Crisp and clean, with pleasant apple notes and a touch of mineral.

Quince notes on the nose. This wine has a nice mineral base with an oily, rich mouthfeel. Bay leaf notes and quartz on the finish

A crisp, quaffing white from Rioja that shows reds aren\'t all they do well.
