Osborne Jerez-Xeres-Sherry Fino Quinta 2010

Member Review by drdebs:

Should have known better than to buy dust covered Fino from back of shelf. Really, I should have. Still, I did it because you never see this bottling in the US. Was indeed slightly oxidized, and will be used for cooking. Had one glass, and even though it wasn't in top shape it still had that wonderful combination of nuts and briny salt that makes me love Osborne Fino.

Quite pale and light in color with vanilla a creamsicle, perfume and white flower bouquet. Racy mouthfeel but not overwhelming with orange blossom, raw almonds and lime on the palate. Because I imagine this tasting great with savory food, I'm curious how it would up with an Asian stirfry or Thai food?
