Osborne Cream Sherry NV

External Review by Premium Wine & Spirits:

Fabulous nose. There’s interesting, mature wax and lanolin notes along with a woodsy caramel note. Concentrated, medium-bodied and harmonious. The firm structure keeps it lively and interesting. Drink now.

Cream sherry, typically heavily sweetened Oloroso to be consumed as an after-dinner drink, was a style first developed in Bristol, England. This deep amber, aromatic bottling has a distinct charred edge to its brown spice-roasted nut character.

Intriguing. Notes of petrol and honey are infused with a floral-like quality that keeps this dessert wine on track. Full-bodied and sweet yet not overpowering, it never get too heavy. Moderate length. Drink now.
