60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot Ornellaia 2003 is a wine that shows the great ripeness of the vintage through its abundant ripe fruit flavours, scents of exotic spices and a rich and generous texture. The important proportion of Cabernet franc and the PetitVerdot add their complex aromatics, their freshness that together with the wine's richness give a bottle of great harmony and balance.

WINEMAKER'S NOTESLe Serre Nuove 2003 shows characteristics of richness and softness, resulting from the warm vintage. Thearomas offer intense notes of mature fruit, coming primarily from the Merlot, combined with the complexity ofthe well-structured Cabernet and the freshness of the tannins of Petit Verdot.
