Ormarine Picpoul de Pinet 2010

Member Review by zufrieden:

Sitting - as I might imagine it - on the Mediterranean with a refreshing glass of local white, this thirst-quenching, somewhat neutral and strangely salty wine would be the very ticket. The scent is like freshly picked Thompson Seedless grapes with a hint of coarsely ground salt. The flavor is muted, but has fruit enough to refresh - with a little salt and mineral to provide some character. Medium finish due to the mineral effect. Good value and won accolades at a local wine festival over far more expensive whites.
