We had our first glasses last evening. We'd heard through the grapevine (no pun) that this year was going to be a disappointment. That rumor was WAY off the mark. We found it a bit more fruitful than the 2007, without being any sweeter. A wonderful deep red, we also found it a little softer in the mouth, less peppery. This has become our new favorite red.
