Editorial Reviews for Oriel 365 Prosecco
With sweet notes of peaches and pears this is offers a simple but appealing nose. Solid acids battle the sugar on the palate and allow the nice ginger and apricot flavors to drape across the palate and linger aromatically on the finish. 86pts
Easily comparable to a mid-level champagne in terms of complexity and balance. I'd buy it again.
aromas of some sweet peach and melon, and a little floral. crisp acidity on the palate combined with flavors of lychee, roses, and sweet tea.
Very nice - well priced. Toasted notes, nice and complex with striking notes of pear throughout.
Had this at the prosecco vs. champagne tasting I mentioned in a forum (if you want to check that out). It was amazing with some fresh strawberries, and with a rich triple creme cheese. Very versatile food wine, though I've been known to drink it alone on more than a few occasions :-)
