What to Expect

Prosecco is unusual in the world as it is almost always used to produce the sparking wine of the same name from Italy's Veneto region. The wines tend to feature a light orchard fruit tone, recalling white peaches and pears, with bright acidity and light body. Many versions of Prosecco have a touch of sugar that adds fullness to the wine though there is a movement towards producing drier wines, particularly under the Cartizze denomination.

Winemakers Notes

Aroma: Honeydew melon and white peaches with a hint of brioche.

Taste: Fresh pear and white peach with a bright mineral finish.

365 is named for the essence of Prosecco—an invitation to celebrate every day!

Vineyards and winemaking: Vines on steep, south-facing slopes overlooking the Piave River. Grapes hand picked before gentle pressing and fermentation a 18-20 degrees Celsius in 100% stainless steel vats.

Easily comparable to a mid-level champagne in terms of complexity and balance. I'd buy it again.

Had this at the prosecco vs. champagne tasting I mentioned in a forum (if you want to check that out). It was amazing with some fresh strawberries, and with a rich triple creme cheese. Very versatile food wine, though I've been known to drink it alone on more than a few occasions :-)
