O'Reilly Pinot Gris 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

The 2009 O’Reilly’s Pinot Gris is a classic Oregon Gris- plenty of lime and pear flavors that linger with a bright citrusy finish. Expect a crisp and forward wine loaded with great minerality.

Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Nice fruit, with some melon and citrus. Decently acidity as well.

Very good, with fruit, mineral, and a bit of sweet. Good for sipping.

Huge fruit, but cloyingly sweet

With aromas of citrus this light sipper opens up on the palate with flavors of citrus and ripe pear with earthy tones. It has a nice crisp finish.

O'Reilly's is the budget label for Owen Roe, featuring an attentive wolfhound on the label. Crisp and bracing, this is loaded with textured pear and apple fruit, flavors of barrel fermentation and wonderful pearskin highlights.

Stone colored; lime scented straw and dusty slate aromas mask an unbelievably juicy, viscous palate. Strikingly rich glycerin, a flavor-puree of pear, apple and honeydew with riesling-like sweeteness. Minutes after, vivid passionfruit sensations.
