RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

I had the pleasure to share a bottle with a friend. I hate to admit that this was the best bottle of wine I have ever enjoyed. Velvet smooth, warming and rich with a spicy bite and hints of anise.
Tasted again, this time it seemed a bit tighter, perhaps it was a fresher bottle, just popped. Still, magnificent wine. I wish the same could be said for the winery experience. -Tasted at the winery 9/20/09
I could write a sonnet about this wine. It is poetry. One of my personal favorite special occasion wines. I always give myself a bottle for Christmas. Thank you Santa.
For special occassions, this wine and Caymus Special Select Cab top my list!
The perfect special occasion wine for that special dinner.
My favorite bottle in my whole collection. It is notably better then just about everything else...the flavor is deep and the finish is long. You can taste the difference of this wine even if it's the last one opened.

Frequent spring rains through the month of May led to a year of cool temperatures and slow ripening, with an extended harvest that ended on November 2nd. A voluptuous garnet, the 2005 Opus One offers concentrated aromas of blueberry, rose petals, white truffle, licorice and nutmeg. Flavors of cassis, black olives, raspberry and dark chocolate culminate in a long and luscious finish.
Notes: 100% New French Oak.
