I've bought perhaps 8 cases of the 2007, and drunk half of them with friends... dynamite zin, very fruity, not tannic, very unlike Ridge or Seghesio, really a fun elegant wine. I assume it will lose fruitness as it ages. RS is under 1% and etoh is 16.6%, but the alcohol is pleasant and enhances the fruit.
i loved this wine. had it with bbq ribs and it was perfect. very luscious and rich. absolutely delectable.
Very smooth, rich and velvety Zin - one of my favorites along with Earthquake Zin
Color is almost black and rich. great legs. Has the aroma of grapes on the vine in the sunshine. The texture is thick and velvety in the mouth. The wine is very fruit forward. I would serve it as a desert wine with your selection of assertive cheeses.

Extremely dense, jammy, and full-bodied, Opolo's Mountain Zinfandel is not for the faint of heart. This is a massive Zin, with Raspberry Jam and Mocha aromatics, and a big rich structure.

Appropriately named both for it bountiful bouquet of fruit, as well as where the grapes are grown, this full bodied Zinfandel has plenty of ripe black cherry, raspberry and spice and is framed by soft tannins and balanced acidity. Zinfandel isn't known as America's most decadent red for nothing. This wine pairs with pork roast, BBQ ribs & chicken & tri-tip. It also is nice with blue veined cheeses and chocolate.

Raspberry jam dominates the mid-palate nuanced by savory butterscotch overtones. Vanilla, white and cayenne peppers, and cinnamon spice makes for a lively finish. Not yet reviewed; 2010 vintage rated 90 points and 'Very highly recommended' by California Grapevine.
