We have successfully developed the Opal Ridge range of wines over a number of years. Competitive pricing is paramount. When you add top designer labelling, together with the wine quality level Berton Vineyard produces, we really do have a powerful value for money proposition. We offer four styles. The Gewurztraminer and Verdelho combines the aromatic Gewurztraminer with the fuller bodied Verdelho to produce a vibrant and fresh tasting wine, medium in style. Vintage: Grapes: Gewürztraminer 48.3%), Verdelho (47.9%) and Frontignac (3.8%) Viticulture: The grapes were sourced from Riverina (NSW) with small parcels from vineyards in South Australia and Victoria. Winemaking: Cold fermented in stainless steel. Taste: Youthful light colour with vibrant lime glints. The nose offers up aromas of rose petal, glace lemon and exotic fruits. The palate is finely balanced between fruit intensity and palate freshness. It displays deep pure fruit flavours: lychees, honeydew melon and custard apple that are cut wonderfully by a fine refreshing acidity. Alc: 12% RS: 10 g/l Serve: This wine is ideally suited to spicy Asian salads and stir frys or fruit salad and dairy desserts.
