This is a Pinot Noir from a blend of 50% Sonoma fruit and 50% choice Oregon vineyards. Since the appellation crosses state lines, it must be considered a non-vintage wine but it is in fact all 2006 fruit. Most of these grapes are comprised of both Dijon & Pommard clones. The winemaker - Sashi Moorman, ferments 25% of the wine in new oak barrels and the remainder in stainless steel tanks. The wine gets its name from the fact that it may never be made again. If it is, it may be a different blend. It is all about finding the best fruit they can from the market every year.
