This Argentinian pinot is interesting. It has the delicate traits of a pinot with the richness, body and fruit of a malbec. I never would have guessed this was a pinot. I am not the biggest pinot fan so I was pleasantly surprised.

Strawberry pop tarts all over this wine. It needs a half hour decant as it starts out really tightly wound.

I actually paired this with fried flounder and fingerling potatoes and it went great.

Great little pinot noir - soft, elegant, hint of earthiness. Not overly cherry (not a fan of the sweet cherry popsicle pinots). Surprised how great of a buy it was for the price!
