Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

This is not just any Bourgogne Blanc, this is Olivier Leflaive s closely guarded secret blend from prime vineyards in Puligny and Meursault. The resulting wine is the perfect progeny, melding seamlessly Meursault s fleshy fruit.

Winemaker Notes - Bourgogne Blanc "les S tilles" comes from a blend of vineyards in the villages of Puligny-Montrachet (60%) and Meursault (40%).The vineyard, in which we own certain parcels, adjoin communal appellations. The calcareous clay vineyards face southeast to south on flatter land. Thanks to our loyal suppliers for many years, this wine has been very successful, probably owing to the finesse and elegance it offers - a sign of its Cote d Or origins.

Wine Tasting NotesThis Chablis is blended from grapes bought from contract growers and carefully vinified at Olivier Leflaives winery. The cuve is a blend of grapes from both sides of the Serein River, thus the name Deux Rives or Two Banks. Most of the vines utilized to make this wine are more than 30 years old and the grapes are manually harvested. The success of this Chablis is based in its quality and expression of terroir.

Winemaker's Notes:

"A slightly riper nose features aromas of dried peach and apricot as well as spiced pear and background floral hints. There is excellent volume and plenty of mouth coating extract supporting the delicious, round and voluminous medium-bodied flavors that terminate in a very generous finish that really fans out on the lingering finish. This is fleshy but not flabby and is definitely worth a look." - Burghound
