Huge, jammy, black fruit. Huge but balanced tannins and acidity. Velvety texture. Light medicine. Light raisin and smoke and pencil lead. Juicy. Ready, but still fruit left. Concentrated. Would stand up to food and red meat. 15.3%

Acid shows through on nose, with some jamminess. Medium tannins and acids, big body. Pleasantly sour, almost like a poor-man's 02 Smith-Haut-Lafitte. Red fruit. Mint chocolate. Good QPR @ $35
