Oliver Winery Honey Camelot Mead NV

Member Review by VinoSwagga:

This has a really pretty bottle. I was not blown away by the taste, kinda akward to say but if i bought another bottle I would do so purely for the asthetics of the bottle itself. They drip wax over the top of the cork & stamp it. The background of flowers looks cool with the shade of the yellow mead over it & the bee flutteriung about on the foreground. (Kinda like those neat softsoap bottles) Would look nice on a kitchen shelf. I was dissapointed when i opened it & tried it. I wish I would have left the bottle sealed up & full.

A little too syrupy for my taste., but okay for a sip or two.

Not bad for the price, but I found this a little too sweet for my taste. Certainly good for a dessert type setting though. This is the first time I've tried a mead that wasn't made at home so the flavor is a bit more processed than i am used to. I do agree that the bottle is very visually pleasing though (as other reviewers stated).

I prefer a sweet wine. This was the first bottle of mead I had tasted and I loved it. A cheese or chocolate is wonderful with this.
