Oliver Winery Gewürztraminer 2011
Looks like I am the first to try this new vintage and post here. I think this one was one of the best that I had tried today. With the first breath I discovered orange peals and fresh peach. There were plenty of tropical fruit flavors with a slight sweetness and a crisp refreshing finish.Add winemaker's notes
Since 1972, Oliver wines have reflected the essence of the fruit from which they are made. Bright flavors and balance are the hallmarks of Oliver wine. We invite you to come experience everything Oliver Winery has to offer.

Red fruit on the nose, mostly raspberry with some currant. Jammy. The tannins were very present and right up front.
I admit that I am biased towards the Oliver wines, I absolutely love them. The Catawba is very special it tastes like the essence of cotton candy. It is very light not too heavy. It is almost as if it evaporates from your tongue. I would recommend for people who enjoy sweeter wines.
