What to Expect

Syrah: One of the few grapes to really be a global success. Syrah combines a meaty core of ripe berry fruit with tones that range from herbal to peppery in a package that tends to be medium bodied with good acidity and softer tannins. With age the wines can gain lovely leathery and black olive notes that make them a great match for savory and gamy dishes.

Reviews

Adam and Helene Tomah, proprietors of the superb Ojai winery make this superbly dry Rose from a blend of Pinot Noir and Syrah. It sports a sparkly salmon copper colored wine with luscious cinnamon, orange peel and dominant cranberry characteristics in the taste and aroma.

I found this wine to be very much light a provencal rose- light pink color, tight acidity, floral nose with light berry flavors on the mouth.
