With a more herbal bent, one finds rosemary edges here over fresh tar, roast pork, ash and what smells of a little of sweet wood. Nicely fruity and rich in the mouth, this shows some austere tension with a nice, open feel and fine clarity on the palate. The fruit is redolent of cherry with a little wild berry and an incipient sweetness on the back end. All in all, this is very clean and precise right through the finish, which ends with a nice flourish of herb. 91pts
