Our winery is nestled in the Langhe hills, overlooking a sea of vines. Just as in the past, only grapes from family-owned vineyards are used to make Oddero wines. “Poderi e Cantine Oddero” (Oddero Estate and Winery) is a historic name among Barolo producers. Run for generations by men, it is now in the hands of Mariacristina and Mariavittoria, the daughters of Giacomo Oddero, Barolo patriarch and a man whose fame reaches beyond the Langhe. The company dedicates its full attention to the winemaking process, blending ancient wisdom and modern production techniques with patience and tenacity: from the pruning of the vines to the pressing of the grapes, up to the ageing of selected vintages. Oddero vines grow in some of the best and sunniest sites (known as sôri) on the hills in the Barolo and Barbaresco zones and beyond. Read less
