100% Frappato from Arianna Occhipinti's biodynamic estate in the southeastern corner of Sicily near Monti Iblei. Cooling sea breezes at high elevation help to create an elegant and fragrant wine with ripeness and a firm acid structure. Not yet reviewed; 2007 vintage rated 90 points by Fine Wine Review: ...shows great finesse with wild strawberry fruit and a round, medium-light texture, with fine intensity and finesse. Drink cool. The wine will be a revelation to those who think of Sicilian wines as dark, rustic, powerful, and alcoholic. 12.5% stated alcohol.
