Shows an attractive deep purple color. Complex and powerful in the nose, this wine boasts an aromatic range of ripe black fruits and jams, perfectly assembled with spicy notes provided by the oak aging. Flavorful, dense and generous, it has an outstanding balance between structure and fruitiness that adds character, power, elegance and great length to this terrific wine.
Careful vineyard selection promotes the richness and complexity of this gem! Very toasty, offering aromas of mocha and spice. The flavors are deep and lush, with notes of raspberries, figs, plums and chocolate and a splash of coffee. A real treat with shell steaks grilled medium rare with shiitake mushrooms, center cut pork chops with glazed carrots and steamed asparagus, and parmesan encrusted tilapia with fresh cut green beans and orzo boiled al dente in chicken stock.
