Add your reviewWow ~ FInd this wine and buy a case! I had the pleasure of trying it at a 20+ bottle tasting last evening and it tied as my favorite wine. (Tied with Quintessa '06 at $135 a bottle.) VERY good QPR - definitely worth $30. So, as I said - find it, buy it, enjoy it!. In the glass the color was quite dense and dark - crimson. Aromatically beautiful - hints of anisette and plum. Upon tasting - HUGE "ahhhhh" factor; very round in the mouth, black cherries and plum, seemed a hint of cinnamon with a nice, very light touch of oak/vanilla, followed by a kiss of minerality on the back end. I LOVED this wine; it was an elegant balance of fruit and tannins, softness and structure. This wine would be terrific with many different dishes, but I think it would thrill you all on its own!
This is an excellent, single vineyard, hillside Cabernet that's well worth the money. Opaque, all dark berries and cherries, chewy, strong from nose to 30 second finish. Honest, if this said Napa Valley rather than Lake County on the label, it'd sell for $40-50, and sell well at that!
I received this bottle as a gift and really enjoyed it. I thought it was well balanced with cherry notes, a slight spice and a smoky nose.
