Much better than the 2006 or 2007. Nice structure and balance. A tad dry on the finish. Give it air and it softens nicely. A very good Cab for the price. Cheers!

Formerly available only in restaurants, this Napa Cabernet is made by Michael Mondavi, with most of the fruit coming from the Stags Leap District. It shows rich, spicy cassis notes and a velvety finish. This is just the thing for grilled meats and roasts.

Terrific Napa Cab from a textbook vintage. Hearty and robust, with firm tannins and lovely black currant, anise and vanilla notes. Great structure, indicitive of long aging potential, but drinks beautifully now as well. Recommended pairings include hard cheeses, braised pork or prime rib.
