Medium-bodied and soft, with anise, black currant and jammy raspberry fruit, and light herbal nuances.

What Americans need is a good $8 Zinfandel, and what do you know? That’s just what this is. Dry as dust but sweet in fruit, with all kinds of savory spices, this is the perfect everyday wine for barbecue. Production was 8,000 cases, so it shouldn’t be too hard to find.

Have you seen those Quiznos commercials saying, "Now that's Toasty!!" Well, so is this 2003 Oak Grove Zinfandel... and it's a good thing. Your first sip explodes with a burst of rich black cherry and plum flavors, followed by a touch of peppery spice and cedar box. This medium to full-bodied red is sure to please both your palate and pocket.
