($182) Saturated violet. Dense, brooding nose slowly opens to reveal deep aromas of cassis, blackberry, boysenberry, tobacco, cola and dark chocolate. Wonderfully fresh and suave, with deep dark fruit flavors showing incredible energy and focus. Silky tannins add gentle support. This is unbelievably elegant for a wine of such flavor intensity and depth. Finishes with compelling sweetness and outstanding persistence. . (Fine Estates From Spain, Dedham, MA)
