- "This is a very classy and racy example of village Nuits, and is clearly a wine that will offer as profound a value in this vintage as is likely to be found in the Côte de Nuits. The nose is deep, extremely fresh and focused, as it offers up notes of red berries, cherries, blood orange, lovely minerality, coffee beans and a touch of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, racy and very transparent, with excellent focus, tangy acids and moderate tannins on the long, complex and tangy finish. A most impressive bottle that augured very well for the 2006 premier crus awaiting in the cellar. 2014-2035...89+." John Gilman 12/07
