- "Just two barrels produced from millerande vines planted in 1902; the word "Ultra" did not actually appear on my bottle, but this cuvee is distinguished by a white label. Reticent aromas of dark berries, minerals and roast coffee; slightly reduced but quite pure. Sweet, lush, deep and primary, with outstanding intensity of dark berry flavors and compelling richness. An extremely young fruit bomb with great sappiness. I rediscovered the recorked bottle in the back of my refrigerator nine (!) days later, and it showed vibrant aromas and flavors of blackberry, violet and bitter read more...chocolate while remaining sweet and firm in the mouth.
