Ripe black fruit and warm vanilla aromas echo across the palate. With loads of dense currant and deep black cherry harmoniously wrapped around a rich, supple core, the finish is long and elegant. Vintage: The Columbia Valley enjoyed another excellent harvest in 2001 on the heels of three strong vintages preceding it. Warm summer temperatures were accompanied by dry conditions that persisted through harvest.
