Norman Vineyards:
Welcome to Norman Vineyards, a small family owned winery in the beautiful hills west of Paso Robles on California’s Central Coast. We’ve been growing grapes here for over 30 years, and making wine for over 15. Our specialty over the years has been elegant Cabernet and Meritage, bold Zinfandels, Barbera, and Chardonnay. Along the way we’ve thrown in a few small production wines to keep it interesting, and now, Syrah, which joined our lineup in 2002.

This wine is awesome. So jammy you want to spread it on toast. Don't try to pair it with anything, just enjoy with a good friend and a game of Yahtzee!

This is my idea of all the qualities a Zin should possess. Tons of jammy fruit with big boldness and complexity. So much to chew on and yet approachable for the non-Zin lovers. Yum.

elegant aromas of blueberry, blackberry and ripe bing cherry are enhanced by brambles and spicy notes of fennel and pepper. Remarkably balanced, the full body, firm acidity and intense berry flavors lead to a structured, cocoa-powder finish with mouth-filling texture. True to its moniker, this robust wine will compliment BBQ red meat and hearty stews, along with rich, chocolate desserts.

A traditional Paso Robles favorite, this year's Monster zin is perhaps the finest ever bottled! Intense aromas of raspberry jam and blackberry are balnaced with spicy notes of pepper and fennel. Full-bodied, the robust berry and plum flavors led to a lengthy finish of caramel and molasses. The moderate residual sugar makes this the ideal wine for rich chocoalte desserts or fireside sipping. Enjoy now or age until 2018.

It impressively conceals its whopping 16.5% alcohol. Drink it over the next 2-3 years." (06/06)
