Norman Vineyards:
Welcome to Norman Vineyards, a small family owned winery in the beautiful hills west of Paso Robles on California’s Central Coast. We’ve been growing grapes here for over 30 years, and making wine for over 15. Our specialty over the years has been elegant Cabernet and Meritage, bold Zinfandels, Barbera, and Chardonnay. Along the way we’ve thrown in a few small production wines to keep it interesting, and now, Syrah, which joined our lineup in 2002.

Dark red. Hints of blueberry and mint. Full bodied with firm tannins. Huge fruit flavors, jammy with long finish. Really coats your palate.

This fabulous wine has all of the intensity of fruit and body that true old vine Zinfandel has to offer. ripe and jammy aromas of raspberry are augmented by resiny and brambly notes. Medium-bodied, it exhibits amazing depth and balance with firm acidity and a flinty edge. Blackberry and malty flavors coalesce into a smooth, lengthy finish. Serve with Carribean crab souffle or Irish Cream cheesecake. Enjoy now or cellar age until 2014.

This lovely, accessible wine has blossomy notes of blueberry and raspberry, with spicy notes of pepper and anise and a minty overtone. Medium-bodied, it is nicely balanced with berry and malt chocolate flavors, crisp acidity and a supple finish. Pleasurable just for sipping with friends, it also matches well with pasta dishes or chocolate desserts.

A wonderfully fruity and balanced wine, the intense aromas of raspberry and cassis are complimented by dusty and spicy notes. Medium-bodied, the bold blackberry flavor and creamy structure lead to a lengthy finish. Serve with eggplant in Marinara sauce or a custard-based dessert.
