Norman Vineyards Petite Sirah(2004)

With intense, jammy aromas of blackberry and cassis, and spicy overtones of black pepper and fennel, the deep, ruby color promises a full and complex taste. The flavors surpass your expectation with layers of berry fruit, coffee and roasted walnuts. Bold and intense yet superbly balanced, the smooth, full mouth-feel lingers into a dark chocolate aftertaste. Will compliment any spicy, red meat entrée such as pork roast or rack-of-lamb. Enjoyable now, or cellar age until 2015.

The tannins are quite firm and drying, so the wine calls read more...
