Norman Vineyards Barbera Paso Robles 2005

External Review:

floral aromas of violet, ripe notes of cherry, sloe and deep plum, and spicy hints of nutmeg and white pepper combine for a seductive and complex nose. Medium-bodied, the berry and malt flavors are lifted by firm acidity and well-structured tannins. Finishing with a nutty texture, this lovely wine is ideal for lighter red meat entrees or spicy game fowl.

Norman Vineyards:
Welcome to Norman Vineyards, a small family owned winery in the beautiful hills west of Paso Robles on California’s Central Coast. We’ve been growing grapes here for over 30 years, and making wine for over 15. Our specialty over the years has been elegant Cabernet and Meritage, bold Zinfandels, Barbera, and Chardonnay. Along the way we’ve thrown in a few small production wines to keep it interesting, and now, Syrah, which joined our lineup in 2002.
