Norman the Vocation Rhone Blend 2003

Winemaker's Notes:

floral notes of rose petals, ripe cherry, and cocoa mingle with spicy nuances of almond and wintergreen in the complex aroma of this alluring wine. Medium-bodied, the plum and nutty flavors are superbly balanced with silky tannins and firm acidity. Serve at cellar temperature with Italian cuisine or roast poultry. Enjoy now, or put down until 2009.

Norman Vineyards:
Welcome to Norman Vineyards, a small family owned winery in the beautiful hills west of Paso Robles on California’s Central Coast. We’ve been growing grapes here for over 30 years, and making wine for over 15. Our specialty over the years has been elegant Cabernet and Meritage, bold Zinfandels, Barbera, and Chardonnay. Along the way we’ve thrown in a few small production wines to keep it interesting, and now, Syrah, which joined our lineup in 2002.
