|Martin Wine Cellar (New Orleans – Metairie – Mandeville)||USD 14.99 $14.99 750ml|
Not yet reviewed; 2010 vintage rated 90 points by both International Wine Cellar and Wine Advocate, which wrote: The 2010 Nora (100% Albarino) saw 10% of the wine fermented and aged sur lie in French oak. It displays a similar aromatic and flavor profile as the Peitan but with a creamier texture, and greater depth, concentration, and length. It is an outstanding value for drinking over the next 3 years.

Brilliant and expressive, with apricot, honeysuckle and lychee notes. Fruit-forward on the mouth and crisp on the finish. You can serve this with savory Indian dishes or pork chops and fruit salsas.
This is as basic as Albariño gets, with aromas of sweet apple and pear. It feels round and a bit soft, with fleshy peach and dry melon flavors. The finish is pithy, with a white pepper note and an indication that the wine is starting to fade. Drink immediately.
