Noon Eclipse is, as almost always, warm to hot on the palate, it tastes of wheat and brandy-soaked plums, cream and cedar, port-filled chocolates and the headiest of blackberries and raspberries. It is a style, it is itself, and this vintage is a high quality example of it.

- A blend of grenache, shiraz and mourvedre from one of Austrilia's Cult wineries. Massive, with high levels of fruit, extract and tannin. Said James Halliday about this winery Noon Winery has always made a specialty of very ripe, late-picked red wine styles, but it is hard to imagine anything eclipsing this Eclipse. A blend of 65 per cent Grenache and 35 per cent Shiraz, the alcohol hovers around 16 degrees, and the wine is unfiltered. James Halliday
