Pineapple, passion fruit, kiwi, plummy, peachy, grassy, herbaceous, sour, sweet, refreshing, puckery. I don't even usually do whites. I like reds, but I was blown away by this one. I'd only ever had the Californians in this varietal and was at the point of "canteloupe, more canteloupe, a hint of citrus, maybe a hint of watery pear. YAWN". Each one was like a continental breakfast at a motel, a bland watercolor painting of the dawn. I much preferred a lemony Pinot Grigio delle Venezie(especially with seafood) until I tried this.
