Missing the sharp citrus bite, but does have a rich fruit flavor and a crisp, refreshing body. The finish comes up short, but otherwise, a yummy wine! Read more

Their 2012 is a bit bigger than the 2011 with a classic pungent nose of Gardenia bloom and citrus. The color is too light and needs a bit more acid. The fruit comes though nicely but the finish is a bit short. My rating -- 86

Mainly lemon and green apples, other citrus on the mid palate. Nice bottle for the price. Not overly grapefruity like alot of other sauvignon blancs from New Zealand.

With more than a quarter of million cases of this wine coming to the U.S., Nobilorsquo;s Regional Collection SB will turn up on a lot of tables over the summer mdash; and justifiably so. Itrsquo;s a very good rendition of Marlborough Sauvignon, offering grassy aromas and flavors backed by lime and grapefruit. Itrsquo;s plump enough to have mass appeal, with a refreshingly crisp finish. Like almost all NZ Savvies, it should be consumed over the next 6ndash;9 months.

Here's a good value in a light, tight style of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc - it's delicately flaovred and perfumed, without the powerfully green Sauvignon character for which the region is noted. Instead, it offers mouthwatering acidity for a pan-fried trout.

Starts off with minerally hints of stone dust and melon, then develops ripe red currant and fig flavors on the full-bodied palate. Falls off a bit quickly on the finish, but itrsquo;s a decent wine at a reasonable price.

Where the sun rises first in the world! Nobilo is a true representation of the archetypal Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Aged in stainless steel vats, it displays a nose of tropical fruit with green peppers. Upon entry you experience distinct melon, passion fruit and lemon peel zest. It cleanses the palate beautifully and would definitely be considered refreshing in every sense. Enjoy with shrimp salad, fish tacos with cilantro sauce or curried turkey tetrazzini.

Bright and lively, with herbal pear and lime flavors that go on and on. Feels round, but itrsquo;s balanced with zingy acidity. Drink now.
