Add your reviewIt is what it is. This is an inexpensive sipping wine. It's got high acidity and some sparkle. I guess some would say it's "refreshing". I say this - sip it on the beach or the porch, but don't expect it to enhance your meal. Honestly, the entire time I was drinking this I was thinking Zima (that malt beverage that hit the scene in the 90's - I don't even know if it's around anymore). My husband finished what what was left of the bottle by mixing it with his sparkling mineral water. This doesn't suck; it just needs to be kept in perspective.
Acidic and crisp with a satisfying dry finish. Fizzy bubbles surprise the tongue. Flavors are not complex, which is probably best if you're entertaining folks who are unable to appreciate wine, and cost is a factor. Think "large, mixed group on short notice." Perfect for summer parties and impromptu get togethers. Pairs well with seafood, lighter cheeses and is fine by itself while you wait for your meal. Don't expect to be awed but do expect a very decent glass for an even better price.
