NK’Mip (that’s ‘Ink-a-meep’ for those struggling with the pronunciation) means ‘the place where the creek joins the lake’ and in the wine-making world represents a joint venture between the Osoyoos Indian Band of the Okanagan, and Vincor International. The first aboriginally owned and operated vineyard in North America has had success with this variety and their 2005 attests to that strength. Whole bunch pressed and stainless fermented, NK’Mip’s Pinot Blanc makes for a great refresher, with welcome depth.

Smooth textured and medium-bodied, this wine begins with warm tropical fruits balanced by the zip of a citrusy, satisfying finish.
