Michele Chiarlo was born in the Monferrato region of Piemonte in Italy, where his family have grown grapes for over 5 generations. In 1956 he decided to start a small winery in Calamandrana, a small village nestling in some of Monferrato's finest hillside vineyards. He now owns 50 hectares of vineyards situated in the most prestigious areas and produces top quality Wines. Thanks to worldwide recognition, the company has been awarded the much sought-after Stella star which is bestowed on wineries that have received the 3 Bicchieri ten times. Grapes : 100% Moscato Region : Italy / Piedmont / Moscato d'Asti DOCG Maker : Stefano Chiarlo and Gianni Meleni Notes : A rich and delicate gentle white sparkling dessert wine where the fruit dances lightly on the tongue. Serve : At 8C with desserts, cream pastries and strawberries and peaches ABV : 5% Suitable for Vegetarians
