Nino Franco Primo Brut. Prosecco di Valdobbiadine DOC NV

Winemaker's Notes:

Wine Advocate Review Rated 88 The non-vintage Prosecco di Valdobiaddene Brut is a light to medium-weight, dry, refreshing, clean sparkling wine. This is a terrific value! Wine Tasting Notes A brut (dry) style Prosecco with a firm bubble and crisp mouth watering acidity. Light straw colored with aromatic floral character and golden apple fruit on the palate. Great to start off any occasion. Works well with seafood in general, and especially oysters on the half shell.

Very dry (11%) prosecco with very little sweetness to it, and excellent finesse, though the bubbles seemed to be a little on the big side. Crisp flavor with pear and apple on the palette, a great apertivo.
