Add your reviewA high altitude vineyard white field blend consisting of mostly Codega (aka Siria in the Douro, Alva in Portalegre and Roupeiro in the Alentejo. Produces nice honeyed still whites in the south and it's high acid grapes are very suitable for white port in the Douro), Rabigato, Donzelinho, Viosinho, Arinto and a few other varietals fermented with native yeast in stainless steel for 6 months without malolactic fermentation. Only 558 cases produced of this gem. Average vine ages are between 40 to 80 years old. Rich, full bodied, very expressive minerality, with an austere nose of white flowers. Bright acidity and a clean crisp finish. $26 US. 3.5/5
