- Classic-styled California Chardonnaty with spice and vanilla aromas of oak, then rich, intense flavors of melon and fig. It fills out and adds complexity with age - up to ten years.

Strong nose of vanilla and spice. Soft yet strong vanilla notes along with green apples and pears (not much malolactic fermentation). Good spiciness from the oak. A long crisp finish. Beautiful.
Tasted as part of winery tour - not to be missed.

- Intense and vibrant, a touch coarse at this stage, but the purity and focus of spicy pear and nectarine flavors is appealing and those flavors are long and persistent on the finish. 24,500 cases made. (JL)

- Has a more smoky/oaky taste than most chards I've tasted. Smooth and delicate. A mature and refined wine already, but will mature! Wow.
