Nicolas Potel Savigny-Lès-Beaune Vieilles Vignes 2007

Winemaker's Notes:

Some of the vines used to provide fruit for this cuvée date back to
1913. Very smart, this builds beautifully towards the back of the palate and is
as elegant a Savigny as you could wish for.

Color: Very dark garnet-red color.Bouquet: Nose of black fruits, spicies and moka. The nose smells like a chocolate cake with blackcherry. Deep, rich but elegant.Palate: Very rich attack of black fruits with present tannins, balanced by the richness of the wine. With a long lingering and beautiful finish.Serving Temperature: Like all red Burgundies of this quality, this Vosne Romanee Vieilles Vignesshould be served at a cellar temperature of about 14 to 16 C.
